Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura, the second largest of Spain’s Canary Islands located in the Atlantic Ocean 100km off the north coast of Africa. Fuerteventura is an island with more than 150 km of white sand beaches and turquoise waters, and is It’s known primarily as a holiday destination due to its year-round warmth cooled by constant winds. It's popular for water sports, especially surfing, windsurfing and waterskiing.
The temperature in Fuerteventura is very mild, spring-like much of the year: during the day, it ranges from 21 °C in winter to 27/28 °C in the summer months. Moreover, temperatures generally tend to stay around the average, except when the wind blows from Africa, which can raise the temperature by several degrees.
The main resorts are: Corralejo and Caleta de Fueste.
