There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars in the town and Playa de las Americas is a very short drive away and offers a huge nightlife choice. The islands beaches are sandy but slighty darker than normal due to Tenerife`s volcanic nature. six beaches on the island received a blue flag for quality. **Official Star Rating: 4**
