The Laguna is a short walk from the heart of the city centre of Zagreb in a quiet residential area. It is a typical 3-star hotel, with recently upgraded public areas which offer internet facilities. Bedrooms are quite basic, but clean and in good order. The building was constructed in 1973 and offers such amenities as a hairdresser's shop, beauty salon, fitness centre with sauna, dry cleaner's and laundry, bank, air-conditioned restaurant, banqueting hall, Laguna club, cocktail lounge, souvenir and newspapers shop. The large restaurant is also known for its quality food, including traditional Istrian dishes and a variety of specialities featuring Croatian and international cuisine.
