The Copenhagen Downtown Hostel is located in the centre of Copenhagen¿s culture and activity, close to many of the city's attractions such as the Tivoli Gardens amusement park and the City Hall Square. The area surrounding the hostel offers trendy music venues, conceptual stores, exciting galleries, cosy coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Around the corner you will find the beautiful canals of Copenhagen and the Christiansborg Palace housing the Parliament. The Stroget shopping street is just up the road and is Europe's longest pedestrian street. The Central station is also conveniently just a five minute walk away. The hostel has a warm welcoming family vibe with friendly staff and clean and secure rooms. The accommodation is budget style, funky and cheap. The hostel has a variety of different rooms to choose from. There are private rooms for two-to-five people or shared dormitories for four-to-ten people. Many of the hostel¿s rooms feature private bathrooms and individual power sockets, seating areas, personal reading lights, hand basins and mirrors. The hostel offers a hip retro Scandinavian look. Bed linen is included in all rooms and most rooms overlook the small square, Vandkunsten. Laundry facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, iPad rental and luggage storage is also possible. In addition guests have the added bonus of a communal guest kitchen to prepare and cook meals in, whilst the popular café bar offers laid back vibes and live music providing the ideal surroundings to relax in or socialise with other guests. The lounge area is also a great place to relax and watch DVDs, play pool, foosball or darts. The 24-hour hostel also offers express check-in/check-out, free Walking tours and Pub Crawls starting from the hostel. Private lockers are available for a small fee.
