The Doubletree Hilton is positioned on the sea-front in the vibrant city port of Olbia on the Costa Smeralda in northern Sardinia. The hotel¿s position provides wonderful sea views of the Sardinian coastline, with most of the rooms having their own balconies. The city of Olbia is based around the port which has been in use for over two thousand years. There are plenty of historic sites and buildings in this ancient city to explore and wander around. In modern times the city has become well known for its restaurants, bars and shops. On top of this the area is full of secluded beaches and beautiful natural landmarks. There are plenty of boat trips and ferries that leave regularly from the port to the nearby beaches and beautiful spots along the coast. There are also facilities either at the hotel or nearby for those who fancy something more than the beaches. You can take a helicopter ride over the stunning Sardinian scenery or if you prefer your feet on the ground there are golf courses and driving ranges.
