This hotel is situated at number 9 Tirgonu Iela (Merchants Street) at the very heart of the old town, near Dome Square. A selection of restaurants are to be found just 20 m away and it is 50 m to the nearest nightclubs. The city park, links to the transport network, the nearest bus stop and the railway station are all to be found within 500 m of the hotel whilst the River Düna, and shopping venues are 1 km away and it is 25 km to the nearest beach and Jürmala. Riga airport is 20 km away.||Opened in 2005, this city hotel comprises a total of 41 rooms spread over 6 floors. During reconstruction work, the central façade retained its original appearance whilst the interiors were completely adapted to suit guests' needs. Merchants Street is one of the most important streets in Riga and records mentioning it date back to as early as the 13th century. Initial documented information about buildings along this street were found from the 14th century when German merchants constructed homes here, near Dome Square. Over time, many constructions have been built here, the most important of the 18th century taking place during the 70's and 80's. The style of the houses was changed significantly, meaning that instead of Renaissance elements, the façade gained more classical features. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a hairdresser salon, a café, a bar, a breakfast room and a playground. It is possible to make use of the laundry service.||Normal single and double beds are available to guests, as are spacious studios, family rooms with two separate bathrooms and penthouse apartments from whence amazing views may be enjoyed out over the old town's rooftops.
